This Salon will introduce you to professional peers in a variety of fields and focus you on what you need to do to monetize yourself, your skills, your talents, and your connections in lean economic times. The Salon for Networking is the easiest & most effective way to increase your circles of contact and develop your skills in the essential craft of networking (Registration details below).

If you haven't attended already; this is a must to expand your business, profession, or art - or to investigate new career paths. If you are coming for a second or third time, even more new attendees will be here for you to expand your networking pool. One new person has a minimum network of 300 possibilities to introduce you to.

Format: 30+ women introduce themselves with a brief career-oriented pitch. Using the Leadership Forum’s unique “request/offer” format, business cards are exchanged and materials are provided on how to follow-up effectively so the momentum continues. Participants should submit a brief bio, describing professional position, industry, or area of interest.  Please bring 50 business cards to each event.

This is an important opportunity for all of us to extend and share our networks, and allow each other to "fish in new ponds".  At this time, it is critical to reach out beyond our familiar circle, meet new friends and make new professional connections.  The Networking Salong was created in response to membership requests for more networking opportunities.

For our friends who live outside of the city who want to plan their schedules so they can attend, here are the spring Salon dates:

  • Wednesday, March 24, 2010 (Speaker: Susan Goldberg)
  • Wednesday, April 21, 2010 (Speaker: Jackie Kellso)
  • Wednesday, May 19, 2010 (To be announced)
  • Sept 22, 2010 (To be announced)
  • Oct 20, 2010 (To be announced)
  • Nov 17, 2010.(To be announced)

Be sure to sign up soon and guarantee your place by purchasing a block of tickets.  Nearly all of our sessions have sold out, and have resulted in productive new alliances and connections between members and guests from widely varying professional backgrounds.
